There appears to have been a catastrophic failure of the air conditioning system, within an hour or so between the service completing and me picking up, I find it very hard to believe that this was not detected in the garage. Continued in next field:

Very satisfied sales staff were there to answer any quemdtions. The X4 is an exceptional car shame BMW are ceasing making them as i would not have purchased an X2 or new X3. I was delighted to get a new X4 from the sales lady i was dealing with.
